Nicholas Bloomfield
As a retired police officer, Nicholas Bloomfield has spent the last 20 years of his professional career working in numerous law enforcement capacities as a patrol officer, undercover narcotics agent, SWAT officer, basic and advanced training officer, and use of force investigator. In addition, he has held numerous supervisory and administrative roles during his decade as a police supervisor. His expertise in the critical areas of police use of force, tactics and training, and organizational safety, have led to his retainment by numerous organizations including the U.S. Military, federal administration and law enforcement agencies, state and local police departments, private security firms, and a variety of private clientele.
Since 2007, Nicholas has worked as an adjunct instructor for Progressive Combat Solutions LLC, a training and consulting company owned and operated by former Navy Seal, Kenneth Good. In 2018, Nicholas became a full partner in the company. The company retains a number of international and national military, police, and private security clients, and is best known for their proprietary training curriculum related to force-on-force, low-light operations and engagements, firearms, defensive tactics, and ballistic shield operations.

Since 2021, Nicholas has worked as an expert witness in police use of force, tactics, and training. He has been retained by several law enforcement agencies, State Attorney General's Offices, District Attorney's Offices, along with private plaintiff and defense attorneys to provide his expert opinion in several criminal and civil cases throughout the country, including cases of national interest.
Nicholas earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in Philosophy with emphasis on morality, politics, and the law; and is presently enrolled in the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Conner School of Law, Masters of Law program.
